How does a grape vine produce grapes? Does it have flowers? Before grapes.

they have small green flowers from May/June. often hard to see as they are hidden by the leaves. then after pollination you get tiny green grapes that from June to August/September they swell and ripen.

I have a flourishing vine in the corner of my courtyard which has done just that...temps today are well over 40C in the sunshine. Grapes are very happy.

Yes - plants can't produce any fruit without flowers which are pollinated and fertilized, even if the flowers themselves go unnoticed by us. 'Fruit' being a general term - seed pods are fruits, most fruits are only seed casings, unless they've been bred to be seedless.
