Do Corkscrew Hazel tree survive in Alberta?

Answers

It probably depends on what part of Alberta it will be in. It can take winter lows down to -30 degrees (USDA zone 4a). I suspect shelter from the winter wind would be a good thing, too, from what I've seen of its behavior in Flagstaff, AZ.

Thanks, I'm just remodeling my front yard from grass to ornamental trees, roses and shrubs, so it's fun , a learning experience and a lot of work. But I'm very pumped to see what turns out. Our winters certainly limit our choices .
