Hi Lizzie and welcome to GoY. How big is this shrub? I'm not sure it is contoneaster by the way berries don't look right. Now is not the time to move anything wait until late September early October to do.

Thanks M G,and thank you for the add,it's about 7ft high and 3 feet wide.in winter it's just a bare twig.I will wait till Sept to move it that's if the roots are not every where.its 3 yrs old but it's just grown wild this summer.lol.thanks

At that height and width it is going to be a challenge to move. Make sure you take a big enough rootball and have the new planting hole ready prior to digging out, keep well watered.

It looks very much like the shrubby Lonicera which we have as a hedge. Did it have small. yellow/white honeysuckle like flowers before the berries?

Agree with Owdboggy, Lonicera fragrantissima, one of the shrubby honeysuckles. Height and spread, if left unpruned, 2 metres by 3 metres, so needs plenty of room.

Not so sure about it being fragrantissima, we have another one which flowers in late Spring, unscented which produces lots of red berries and is a real thug, both from exuberant growth and seeding everywhere. One of these days I will find out what it actually is.
