Stipa Gigantea hasn't flowered.
I planted it last year (no flowers on it then). Lots of healthy new leaf growth, but it hasn't flowered. Do they take a year or two to get going?

Possibly a bit early in the year yet? Our grasses are only just starting.

Yes, they often take a year or two to get going . . . had mine (in full sun) for 3 years and this is the first summer that it's flowered.

@Moon growe - Yes, it's in full sun.
@Bulbaholic - This one should begin to flower in May / June.
@Sheilabub - That's encouraging. Hopefully mine will do the same!
