Has anyone had caterpillar problems with Centaurea Macrocephala? I read that they can eat the leaves but don't eat the flower buds. Alas they have eaten all my flower buds.

Well that is good Seaburngirl. I was thinking of giving up. I have waited two years for them to flower so I was really annoyed. I will give them another year.

yes I have had in the past they are a moth caterpillar. I just ignored them and let the bluetits etc pick at them. I didn't have the problem the next year.
