Yellow tulips. I grew 10 yellow tulips in a tub 2 years ago, left them in over winter, and this year I had about 18.
I took them out and dried them off, now looking at them, should I plant them with their offsets or break them up and put the small ones in the ground.

Tulips naturally multiply as do many other types of bulb – I don’t see why you dug them up unless your planning on moving them – Just leave them alone and you will get an increased number of flowers every year with luck
As Mary said “ Leave them alone and they will come home wagging their tails behind them”

Thanks, I dug them up because they were in a tub that I wanted for summer bedding.

You could have planted the summer bedding over the top of them as you would have pulled this out long before the tulips started to grow. As has already been said, best to leave in ground as that is how they multiply best.

Except if your soil gets pretty wet in winter, which they don't always tolerate.

These look like species tulip bulbs Stera... they will survive winter wet.

Previous question
Plant them as they are, you may get more than one flowering in the same place, at which time the bulbs will grow larger.
