Redesigning a west-facing border this autumn - does anyone have any good web pages to view for ideas? The border has some "holes" in it at present in preparation for moving things about next month. It get's cold and wet in winter - down to -17c and so plants need to be very hardy to survive. It's fairly sheltered though due to the fencing around - soil is loamy and on the acidic side of neutral. Need to keep the old weeping cherry tree as it's lovely in spring and would be to big a job to take out anyway. Ideas of any kind would be much appreciated, thanks.

https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/design is a useful start but you could do an Internet search for "garden border design" images.
Or click on B in the alphabet at the bottom of any GoY page and then select Border Ideas.
