Can you cut back Peris ( Forest Flame) early September. It's never been pruned before and it's blocking light now at house. It's about 9 -11 yrs old.

No - they should be pruned mid to late spring.
The RHS website has all the info you need on pruning anything, including Pieris 'Forest Flame'.
