Hello. Have a chilli plant which has produced one chilli. When should I pick it, will it produce more and should I bring plant in during colder nights or will it be ok in plastic greenhouse ?

I have grown chillies for years – they need feeding as well. I just use tomato feed its an all rounder – mine are all outside just now in pots and are just turning red – but as said you can pick either green or red – Some varieties go on ripening till late October – I bring mine into the greenhouse then and over winter them – and start them off again in the spring. Go to - www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fyInICbb4w or just google over winter chili plant - You will find out how to do it - and you will get a better crop next year from your plant

has it turned red yet? you can harvest them either green or red. if there are more flowers then yes you will possibly get more chillies. It will need a bit of warmth so perhaps bringing it in is a good idea.
