My question is about my apple tree, last year we have such a great fruits from it but this year the fruits are so small, about a quarter of a size of last year. Can you please let me know the reason of what causes this and help me to prevent it from happening again.

You don't say where you are in the UK, but if you're in the south or east, lack of rain is the probable cause - when the fruit starts forming, you need regular water supplies to enable its proper development - without it, the fruit stays small.
