can anyone suggest any small evergreens to edge my new pond with

If its a formal rectangle or other symetric shape then Buxus (Box) is excellent. If the shape of your pond is more natural, I would use plants that look good next to water. You could "edge" with large leaved evergreen perennials such as Bergenia and Evergreen ferns such as Polystichum. Can you post a picture so we can see the style and plants that would suit best?

something informal could be Liriope or ophiopogon, both are evergreen and have beautiful flowers followed by berries..

have just searched these options , cheers they look nice and would sit nice around the pond.....am taking the familly away tommorow so will take a photo when back and look forward to hearing any good comments ( please )
