Why aren't my tomatoes ripening

Answers

Because the sun has gone in and temps have dropped considerably.

I have lots of green toms too! Just have to be patient, we will!

If all else fails (after waiting a few more weeks!) try putting the green toms in a paper lined drawer with an unripe banana. The banana releases a gas (which I think may be methane) which helps the toms to ripen. An old gardener told me this a few years ago and I tried it at the end of the season and it actually worked!

The banana releases ethylene, but the idea's right. :-)
