Seedlings are in the greenhouse, growing well, of Ammi majus and Sweet William. Leaflet from Sarah Raven advised sowing under cover Sept/Oct, but doesn't say 'what next'! I'm pricking them out - then wonder where to keep them: greenhouse or cold frame?? Many thanks.

Thank you Bulba . . . presumably 'frost free' is the main thing.

No, not even 'frost free' for these hardy plants. If you get a prolonged period of freezing weather you might want to try to keep the compost in the pots from freezing solid though.

Many thanks again.

Don't think that it really matters, either will do. Keep the compost just moist and make sure that they don't get scorched by the occaisional day of intense sunshine comeing through the glass.
