Here are some more pictures of a plant someone planted in their parkway. I think it is one and the same, but any ideas what it could be would be appreciated.

India Hawthorn (Raphiolepis indica). It normally does most of its blooming in the spring, but will sometimes give scattered bloom in the late fall, especially when fall is late, like this year.
