Are these slow worm eggs?

Have just dug all the gladioli out of their pots and put them to dry.
In one pot, I found these eggs. They were laid in a single chain. I wonder if they're slow worm eggs? Does anyone know what they are?
Have just Googled slow worm eggs and it seems they lay live young, or else the young hatch within minutes, so I suppose they can't be that.

Slow worms will be tucked away until spring and they do produce live young NO eggs.
