Still on the theme of my Wild Garlic, am taking Cammomile's advice and slowly plowing my way through digging down and removing clumps. Now what type of soil should I refill the ground with as it is now low, can it be a basic peat mix from the garden centre, going to need many bags. Thankyou.

Yes, except for the worst faults, the closer you can get to your original top soil, the better.

Worth looking on your local 'Freecycle' group, people often offer top soil on there - you just have to pick it up.

I would suggest buying top soil and not from a GC but a reputable supplier - i.e. not a cowboy who will happily sell you sub soil.
