Thanks all, its exactly as I feared! I am now trying dosing the area with saved urine, at the least the extra nitrogen will encourage plant regrowth!!

Is it working?

Yes, human urine is a high quality fertilizer, rich in Nitrogen, Phosphorous & Potassium. It also kills weeds and accelerate decomposition. Only get the ground, not the leaves & must be very diluted 20/1. It also destroys pathogens in the soil & deters moles, voles & deer.

Fantastic.I've added it to the compost bin a couple of times but collecting it is easier for those of the masculine persuasion...But what I meant was is it deterring Cookist's badger?

Funny how everything ends up where it starts off.

Does it deter rats / mice? Got a problem on our lottie with the chicken man behind us, all efforts by the council's rat-man have only really held them at low levels.

I haven't used it for that purpose, but yes, I heard it deters everything, rats, wolves, foxes, badgers, etc.

I doubt if human waste, liquid or otherwise will deter rats, after all it doesn't keep them out of the sewers.

The human waste here is contained in a closed system and does not linger in the sewer system. Who needs a listeria outbreak? It's quickly flushed through.

Don't over do it. Too much urine will burn the plants. You should only use a very diluted solution a couple times per season.
