Does any inow when the lovely rhodendruns bloom at the falls of Bruar as we did the wanderful walk yesterday and they were all in bud it would be lovely to see them in all in bloom.

Agree, but we don't stop at Bruar any more, much too crowded.

It certainly is and only the top car park was open as theŷ are doing work in the bottom car park.
But the walk was fantastic not as busy on the walk it might be as the weather warms up .
But the views are amazing.

One of my favourite stops in Scotland! I've never seen the rhodys in bloom there Kath, but would think May would be your best chance. Its such a lovely atmosphere under those Larches. I have been in autumn when their needles are falling like golden rain. That's really beautiful!

They are R. ponticum (I think) so it will be April/May time.
