Ferrous Sulphate question.
I've just bought a packet of ferrous sulphate with instructions as to how to apply it as a moss killer. I also want to apply it to the base of a rhododendron, whose leaves have been looking a bit yellowish for the past 2 years (to reduce soil pH), but not sure what dilution rate should be used there. Does anyone have experience using the chemical in this case?

Have you tested the soil first so you have some numbers to work with when you dilute? In any case, whatever recommendation is made do one half of that. It's better to undershoot than overshoot in this situation.

Hi, it is rather a complicated question, as there are so many variables, have a look at https://www.rhs.org.uk/advice/profile?PID=82
