Erythronium question. I planted a pack ( from garden centre) of three 'pagoda' bulbs last September in a new moist shady area that has become available in the garden . But here we are in March and no sign of any growth at any of the plant labelled sites. Have they missed the boat? Do they sulk? Have done a bit of research online where 1 article says to buy plants in flower and others that say they are really easy to grow and also checked back on this website questions where someone was advised to soak the bulbs before planting. Any advice welcome.

Bit early to be expecting to see growth from Erythroniums where you live... ours aren't up above the ground yet either and they are well established.

Mine are just breaking soil with the tips of the leaves. Did see some on sale at Loughborough AGS actually in flower. Must be forced.
