We have one raspberry bush - I think it's a primocane? It's now April 2nd and we haven't pruned it and buds have started to form. Is it too late to prune now?

If you are quite sure its a primocane and autumn fruiting it should be cut down to the ground - should have been done a month or so ago but better late than never. However there doesn't seem to be any sign of new growth at the base - are you quite sure its an autumn one?
If its a summer fruiting one you should cut out all those weak spindly canes and just leave the strong ones.
It would benefit from a good mulch and a little general fertilizer as well. If your soil is acid you could give it some sulphate of potash instead to encourage flowering but another time do these things in late February to mid March.
Remove all that grass from around it in either case because if it gets tangled up with the bush you'll never get it out.
If you really don't know which it is, treat as summer fruiting. When you know what time of year it flowers you'll know which pruning regime to follow next year.
