Anyone identify this plant, please?
My Other Half says it's a hybrid: fatsia and hedera. Is he correct?
We "found" it after clearing a section and the little clusters of flowers (?) make interesting arrangements when added to other flowers.

Hi yes fatsia japonica , I have one in my front garden that is doing really well at the moment.

A Fatsia japonica for sure. Fatshedera (tree ivy) leaves are smaller and more like Ivy. I have a variegated and 'Annamieke' and have never had berries on either.

No - this appears to be Fatsia japonica - the plant he's thinking of, not dissimilar in appearance, but shorter, with smaller leaves and with individual stems rather than forming a solid shrub, is Fatshedera x lizei. Google images for both for comparison and confirmation purposes. Hopefully winning the contest won't ruin your Sunday night, lol!
