I have a small twisted willow tree which has a lot of insects eating away at the bark, i have cut off some branches which almost came off in the hand, but want to keep the new branch which seems healthy, if i can, what could i spray it with to kill the pests. Also I have an ongoing problem with a cat coming into the garden and fouling on my lawn, i have a cat scarer which i put new batteries in but i see there is mess again what can i do?

Cats do not foul on lawns as a rule, they use loose soil in your flower beds in which they dig holes & bury.
Are you sure it's a cat?
It could be a fox. There are powders on sale in the garden centres that you can scatter to keep off cats.
We would need to see a photo of the insect pests to help with your other problem.

Feverfew you have been lucky - its usually the boss cat of the area that fouls lawns and the underlings bury their waste.
There are ulltrasonic deterrants meant to deter cats now, but as they work over quite a wide range it would be best to check that they don't reach as far as a neighbourhood cat's own garden...
If you live near a zoo and can cadge some lion poo that's said to deter cats as well.
Fox poo usually trails off into a little pointed tail at the end and cat poo has rounded ends (sorry about that, but its useful info...)
