I recently bought a Norway Spruce, Picea Abies sapling in a 33cm pot and the instructions say i can feed it using baby bio??.. I thought that food/fertiliser was for houseplants?.. if not what food/fertiliser can I use to keep feeding it on? Thank you

Bay bio will be fine for your potted Spruce, although it doesn't need feeding that often anyway. The formulation of Baby Bio, in NPK terms, is 10.6-4.4-1.7, which means its much higher in nitrogen than P & K, and nitrogen is what makes good leaves. You don't have to use baby bio though, you can use any plant food that has a similar NPK, or a balanced NPK such as Growmore (7-7-7), but don't use things like tomato food or anything that's higher in K than N. There should be an NPK printed on the pack of any decent fertiliser...

One of the more convenient things about plants is that they can't read. :)
