Clematis ID. Given that there are 1,000's of varieties is it worth putting a photo on here of an early flowering clematis. In spite of the cold I have a potted clematis in flower for the past 2 weeks. I don't have a label and have been pruning after flowering but have read that maybe that's not correct.

Well if you're pruning after flowering to keep its size in check, and its a spring flowering variety, that's the right thing to do. But its always worth posting a pic if you want an ID.
