My next door neighbour has peach and apricot trees already heavily infested with the red blisters and distorted leaves of leaf curl. Some of my apple trees have started to display the same symptoms. I always imagined they were caused by different varieties of the fungus and so not co-infectious. My orchard is already in pretty full leaf, most blossom over and fruits forming. Am I right in thinking that it is already too late to spray with a fungicide? Any ideas as to the best way forward? We have plum, cherry, apple, pear and quince trees.
