Can anyone tell me what this is please, it looked like a tomato plant at first but as the berries turn black i know it's not that, and I have loads of it

Hi im not 100% per cent but that looks like Deadly Night shade,the berries are really dangerous to children and pets,as i say im not definetly sure and will follow further views from other more informed posters. Jim.

Certainly one of the nightshade family as are potatoes and tomatoes. If it is in your garden I would remove.

I seem to remeber that I was corrected last year for calling it 'deadly' nightshade. Someone thought that it was woody nightshade. The comments above still apply, though.

I dont think it is woody nightshade as the flowers are white and yellow as woody nightshade flowers are purple, I thought it could be black nightshade but just am not sure, thanks guys and ladies

It's Solanum nigrum, an annual weed of disturbed ground.
