Hi, welcome to GoY, it looks as if it's a piece of Rhododendron stem, that has been used for greenery in the bouquet, the new growth is what would have grown this year, had it not been cut, I would think it highly unlikely to root, even if given plenty TLC, I would get rid of it, if you would like a Rhododendron, it's much easier to go to a garden centre, there is lots of choice, Derek.

Highly unlikely to root Pamg, that is a mature branch of the rhodo. Semi ripe cuttings are taken in August and a specific procedure needs to be followed, it isn't difficult if you know what you are doing and have access to the material. Species rhodos. can be grown from seed.
