I used to be able to grow lavender in my garden but in the last couple of years, every plant I have planted has died within weeks of planting. The gardens at either side of mine are growing it so I can't imagine its the soil but I cant think of anything else. Any advice would be very welcome thanks

Perhaps you are over watering them after you set them in. After planting, slightly moisten the soil and no more than that. See if that helps.

are you planting them in the same soil as the ones that died? if yes then don't. plant them in a different place or dig out the soil and replace it first.

Yep, it sounds like some kind of root rot fungus. At the very least, let the soil rest from lavender for the next several years.

How do I say thanks?
