Hi I moved and split some daylilies about 2 years ago, and they haven't flowered since, They were well established plants and flowering well in my front garden, They are about 5/6 years old, They look really healthy and each group have grown bigger than the original plant was in my front garden just no flowers.

I think the number 1 reason day lilies don't flower is not enough sun. They need full sun to perform well.

Yes I fed them Jaykaty, I did read that if you over feed they can stop flowering, Bathgate there in my back border its has full sun all day,

I split a my day lily. One part in shade on the front garden is full of buds. Funnily enough the one in the back garden in the full sun has none! :)

My daylilies are covered in buds, I haven't touched them at all. Sometimes the ones in the back don't get sufficient water. I'm stumped at what else it could be.

I had daylilies for years that never flowered and I split them and moved them. They still didn't flower for years, despite apparently thriving, then about three years ago flowers appeared. I have no idea what changed! I've had two years of good flowering, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for this year.

Its a bit early for signs of flowers yet, I'm way south of you and mine are still just clumps of leaves. Fingers crossed you get some flowers this year. Have you given them a feed?
