I have a laburnum golden chain tree. It's newly planted. 5 days ago. The leaves are turning yellow. They also look limp. Did I over water it? It was watered when it was planted and then we had s storm a few days later. Maybe under watered? Can anyone help?? Thanks

Yes, 5 days is pretty fast for overwatering to show, unless it is planted in an obvious swamp. When you took it out of the container, did a lot of soil fall off of the roots?

« do you fertilize when the plants are In bloom like azaleas or rhododendron?
id go for under watered. is it firmly 'stamped' down especially if you have had a storm. you don't want the plant to rock and undermine any new roots that are forming.
