'Cornish lilies, orange: they are growing very abundant over the years, looking very tight as they come up. For better chance of many flowers, is it advisable to thin them out now - or too late?

Not sure what you mean bt cornish lily - there are asiatic lilies, kaffir lilies and even Nerine bowdenii are sometimes called lilies - any chance of a photo for ID?
