This has been in my front garden for years,

but I've never noticed it before ! ( not into flowers).
What is it and how should it be treated in future ? It's about 6 ft tall. Thanks.

looks like rhododendron, maybe an azalea type

Doesn't need treating at all Hank, unless it gets too big..
