Well, I did bring the bulbs from my Herefordshire garden and it was find there. I think the word ought to be fasciNation not fasciation. Sounds more appealing and interesting.

have they had a nibble from slugs. my kniphophia had done this and they have the tell tale signs of being chewed underneath.

Looks like you might have a case of fasciation there.
