I have steps from mine, but what if you looked on images for extentions either on here or on the web... you might get some good ideas that way? Might also be under patios, step ideas or back / front doors?

What about different levels of patio, almost as steps, but perhaps with a curve, so the effect is more of descending levels across which you walk, rather than juststeps down. Very wide steps if you like, as I said above, in arcs?

I have wide steps - the width of the double doors and the side windows, I wanted to curve them but it was going to work out too expensive at the time so I left them (without railings) so that I have the option to widen and lengthen them and perhaps add curves into the lawn later.
