Courgette question. For the first time I am growing courgettes and I have 4 plants growing, 2 in a large container and 2 in the ground. I have a few female flowers that have been opening for a few days already, but the male flowers are still small and immature. How will I get courgettes to develop? Everything I read says that the male flowers usually open first, but not in my case. How can I encourage the male flowers? Is it just a case of patience needed?
