Laurels stop flowering

We several laurel bushes and they stopped flowering. They appear to be healthy. We know about the pods and remove them whenever we see them. Any hints?

I have laurels aswell & mine dont have pods either, like you Chris 1 year is good then sometimes there not as good.

I have a type of laurel that has good years and bad years for flowers. It always looks healthy, so I don't worry. It doesn't have pods though.
