I have a plant/weed that is taking over my garden , it has small green leaves and spreads likes moss . Any solutions as to what it is and how to control it please ?

Googled it and it is Mind your own business . Understand gardeners letting it grow in patio joints as it stops weeds growing through . Will try eradicate it from borders and leave on patio . Many thanks
