Can a Crinodendron be grown in a pot

I saw this amazing shrub growing in North Wales and bought one from the Bodnant Gardens. I was told that I could prune it to keep it under control but can a Crinodendron Hookerianum be grown in a pot?

Not really, even if it is a big pot, Crinodendron Hookerianum will, left unchecked easily grow to 5 metres even pruned it is going to be at least a couple of metres in height.
