How can I grow oriental Lillie's in winter

I don't know exactly why but it is my understanding that Lillie's and many other bulb and rhizome plants need to undergo a rest and a period of cool temperatures to flower well. You can force them to flower in the winter in indoor pots. For future questions and advice it would be helpful to give your growing zone in the USA since a majority of members on this site live in the UK. Welcome!

Depends on your winter temperatures and climate generally, but they'd likely need a greenhouse or extra lighting.
