I have a Swiss cheese plant in the garden with lots of aerial roots, should I do anything with them?

Hi Tugbrethil thanks for the info, its planted in the garden in a raised bed next to a large rubber tree, so I have pushed the end of the roots into the soil.

« Is Nepeta evergreen...? The RHS says it's deciduous, but other sources say...
Are you growing it in a hanging basket, on a stake in a free-standing pot, or climbing up a tree? If the first case, just cut off the roots that get in the way. If the second case, poke the roots that can into the soil, and cut off the others. If the third case, let the roots go where they will, some will go into the ground, to feed the plant, while some will clasp the tree to help it climb.
