I have several packs of bulbs that should have been planted by May. How best do I store them until next year? Thank you.

Yes, most summer bulbs have short shelf-lives, so many of them will already be dead, but I would give the survivors the best chance possible. It's not likely than any of them will be alive by next spring, if not planted. What kinds are they?

I would get them in right now and give the bulbs a fighting chance to establish themselves than to continue to waste away out of the ground where you could loose them all.
