I need to remove a large Euphorbia.
Think it is Euphorbia Fireglow, and impressive as it is when in full colour, I need to get rid of it. It fills an area of approx. 6ft by 4ft. The massive bunch of underground rhizomes are deep and very tangled. I'm looking for advice, hints, on how to get rid completely. Digging it out is proving difficult.

Oh well, I had hoped for a magic wand.
Might have to employ a 'Young Maan', as I'm just no longer fit for lots of digging. :-(

Sorry Sophie but it is the only way I know to get the roots out.

Do protect your skin though or make sure the "young man" does.

Digging is the only way I know you are going to get rid of and you'll need to be careful that you don't get the sap on your bare skin. Cut the top growth down to the ground and then just keep digging and digging and digging.
