I have been given some pansy plug plants that have been left in their cells for a few weeks. I have potted them on but they are very lanky and some have started flowering so should I cut them back and remove the flowers to let them fill out? Many thanks

I would cut off all the flowers and larger buds, shorten the longer stems to remove 1/3 of the foliage, and feed them well with a balanced plant food. Note that it may or may not be able to bloom again before frost, but pansies can bloom through mild frosts.

How do I say thanks?
