Hi, welcome to GoY, it looks like a Pheonix canariensis, which isn't hardy in the UK, so will need protection, so I would tie up the fonds, and if frost is forecast cover with a few layers of horticultural fleece, but remove as soon as the weather warms up, and then replace ifyou get any more frost, if we get a very mild winter, it should survive with this sort of protection, but if we geta very coldwinter you will probably lose it, Derek.

Hi, sorry about the delay in getting back to you, but I've not been on here very much lately, due to a bad attack of shingles, but I've just remembered you asking what to use to tie up your palm.
Years ago it would have been raffia, but nowadays there are all sorts of things you can use, I think the best way is to use bubble wrap, after using a soft tape or similar, anything that won't cut into the stems, put a handfull or two of straw into the crown to prevnt water getting in, put a couple of wraps of the bubble wrap around the plant, then put a layer of straw around the roots, take the bubble wrap off on any mild periods, but replace as soon as frost is forecast, Derek.
