My first thought exactly, but my dwarf Robinia pseudoacacia is thornless!

Our Frisia has lethal thorns on the branches.

Robinia leaves are a nice light green but not quite as yellowish as your photo, so yes, probably autumn colour.

PS Just read on here about one that does indeed have yellow leaves (I think it was Gnarly Gnome who said it) but that many of that variety are dying so best not plant one of your own!

Thanks all of you,I do not think it has thorns, looks very soft and frondy.
No,will not be planting one of my own,as I suppose it will take quite a few years to grow ????

Thanks to everyone who answered my question ,would love one but as it will probably take years to grow I will not outlive it.
Shielabub, you say you have a dwarf one,can you tell me how big it grows to or do you keep it pruned small?

Hi Solada, yes, my Robinia was sold to me as a 'dwarf' and it has grown to 12 feet in ten years (maybe that is small compared to a full-size tree?) I don't prune it at all because it has attractive curly branches!

If it has thorns then it could be Robinia pseudoacacia Frisia.
