My grass is rather long, I notice the parks departments have been cutting grass & also a gardener that cares for a neighbours garden too, so would it be ok to cut mine on a hight cut? My little dog Pebbles is low to the ground & gets rather wet you see LOL.

Yes, its fine, as Steragram suggests. Don't do it if its frosted or soaking wet from recent rain, or waterlogged. Inevitably, the blades of grass will be damp to some extent at this time of year, but you can still cut it, choosing a mild day when the wind isn't from the North (a cold north wind blowing across cut blades means brown tips)

The weather now erratic - warm days, cold days, rain, snow, etc. Who can tell what tomorrow will bring? However, if you get a lucky break in the weather - a sunny mild spell, you can get out there with the mower and do a trim.

It all depends on the weather. On a good day when the grass is dry its ok but best not to do it if the grass is wet.
And don't even walk on it if its frosty...
