Bug in garden
By Oliveoil

I think this is a male grasshopper but it is very orange, he flew past my head and landed in a bush so I captured him under a glass to get a closer look and to get a photo before I leg him go. Any bug experts please confirm or let me know what it is please., not sure about this one so answers please would be appreciated.

Many species do eat plants, so you might want to keep an eye out for more in the garden.

Thank you have googled it and yep it does appear to be one of the Longhorn Beetles which frequent woods, so that would be it because we have an 80 acre wood at the back of our garden. Plenty of trees for it to go at then! as long as it leaves my plants alone it can stay. thanks for the replies guys.
