invasive mexican sunflower what is it?

I'll bet that came from somebody's bird feeder.

It looks like a form of Crownbeard (Verbesina encelioides), a common weed throughout Arizona. I wouldn't be surprised if it is common "south of the border", too.

Im in mexico at 2000 meters and this grows wild up to maybe 15ft given a water source but most of it is now at seed stage so its hard to get good photos of it as most of it inaccessible or dead but i will try.I looked at crownbeard but leaves are wrong but it could be another variety as flowers look the same this has soft velvet leaves that wilt easily and are slightly hairy stems too i thought it was a dead ringer for the yellow form of titonia but again leaves were wrong

Hmm...maybe Helianthus lenticularis? Leaves are near right, but it's theoretically not supposed to get that big.
