Dehydrated bulbs
hi all, a friend of mine has just given me what i can only describe as dehydrated bulbs, some freesias, dahlias and other bits and bobs, my question is how do i treat them, do i have to soak them first or will they be OK just with watering after potting, any help and advice is as always gratefully and graciously received

And hope for the best. The only bulbs that I know that can come back after true dehydration are Poppy-Flowered Anemone (Anemone coronaria), and Persian Buttercup (Ranunculus asiaticus).

thanks for all the advice, I don't hold out much hope for them, I have soaked them for about 12 hours, and will pot on in the morning, they seem a couple of years old, but hey ho you never know until you try,
thanks once again , fingers crossed

Previous question
I would soak them overnight and add a little fungicide to the water too.
